Our Syracuse chapter serves as a node of activity for ACM members and the computing community at large, offering seminars, lectures, and the opportunity to meet peers and experts in many fields of interest.
This provides a unique combination of social interaction and professional dialogue among peers, in their own geographic area. Members’ backgrounds represent all facets of computing – from academia, to research, business and the industry, – and invariably focus on the kind of information and insight that cannot easily be gathered in any other way.
